Our Mission
Our mission at From the Ground Up Garden is to build community while cultivating organic gardening practices, educating visitors about the wonders of the world and creating ‘trail magic’ as a local gathering place for music and art.
The garden is under the umbrella of The Hive Foundation Inc. We are a private non-profit and our EIN is 87-273379. Our overall objective is Sustainability. We meet this goal by Building Community through Education (we say we educate K-Gray), the Practice of Organic Food Gardening and Sharing, and Visual and Performing Arts.
Our Garden Steward, Elizabeth Eubanks, has grown our garden to new heights, alongside Garden Volunteer Beekeeper Dan Killingsworth, and our many loyal and generous volunteers.
