Stories Under The Stars: Flower Power

Please join us in the garden for Stories Under The Stars: Flower Power.

Modeled after The Moth Stories, this event invites individuals to share their own stories with the community.

The theme is Flower Power and so your story can be about anything to do with your interpretation of Flower Power.

The guidelines are:

  • Stories must be original and must be your personal story

  • Stories cannot be read from any paper or device.

  • Stories 5-minute minute cap

  • Stories must stay within the theme

For all you competitive individuals, there are two ways to win. There is a People's Choice award that is gifted to the crowd's favorite and a Judge's that is picked by our panel of judges. Winners will receive a gift card to Red Fish Blue Fish.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the event starts at 7:00 p.m.

Popcorn, drinks and garden merchandise will be sold before and during the event.

While the event is free, donations are encouraged. Proceeds will benefit From The Ground Up Community Garden, a project of The Hive, Innisfree Hotels corporate social responsibility program.

This event is Co-Sponsored by the UWF Kugelman Honors Program and the UWF Community Garden.

*No dogs are allowed in the garden. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
